The Ida & Joseph Friend Cancer Resource Center at Mount Zion supports wellness and the healing process by providing patients, families and others with information about cancer treatment options, emotional support and community resources. The center maintains a library of books and other media; provides access to the Web and specialized health databases; and offers personalized research assistance.

The center hosts diverse support groups, exercise classes and workshops, and directs people to other community resources. In addition to its ongoing classes, the center hosts special events for patients, family members and health care professionals.

All resource center programs are free.
